New Gin and Whisky Tea

It’s the news many of us have been waiting for; at last someone has perfected the art of blending gin and tea and whisky and tea.

At Jenier World of Teas we like nothing better than a challenge and some time ago we were challenged to create tea that combined the taste and qualities of exceptional tea with the flavours of gin and whisky. We’re pleased to announce we’ve managed to go one better than that. We’re now able to offer not only a brand new Gin Tea but also Gin and Tonic Tea as well as two whisky teas with different flavour profiles namely Dreams of Speyside and Dreams of Islay, two of the country’s most popular whisky regions.

We’re the first to accept that Gin Tea might not sound like everyone’s, well, cup of tea, but let us tell you something about it. Firstly there is no actual Gin in it, it’s a taste sensation created by blending many different types of tea with botanicals from around the world, including Juniper. Our master tea blender has literally spent months testing and tasting until we feel we’ve got the perfect flavour. If you prefer your Gin with a traditional mixer don’t worry our Gin and Tonic Tea again is a pure mix of different teas and botanicals with a slightly sweeter finish.

Our whisky teas take on the essence of the two most popular whisky regions in the world. All whisky aficionados can instantly tell the difference between Speyside Malt and Islay Malt and our master tea blender has developed two different tea blends that capture their nuance and palette. We’ve called these teas Dreams Of Speyside and Dreams Of Islay. Again neither contain any whisky, rather the blender’s craft has created flavour sensations similar to the whiskies using only natural herbs and teas from across the world.

Both our Gin and Whisky teas were developed to be served warm or iced, they contain no alcohol so they can be served at any time of day and without need for a licence! Gin, in particular, is very much in fashion just now and we believe these teas offer our customers the opportunity to introduce something new, eye-catching and shareable. Not only can these be enjoyed as stand alone teas they lend themselves to be ingredients in ‘mocktails’ too. The retail, catering and hospitality sectors require innovation and variation to pique customer interest and stimulate sales. These eye-catching new flavoured teas offer a host of opportunities and will generate interest from consumers. We also believe these will prove popular in retail and also in tourist-centric venues as gifts.
