Gingko Leaves are predominantly used in infusions for their widely reported herbal qualities. Ginko leaves come from a large tree that has fan-shaped leaves. Whilst native to China, Japan and Korea, it has been grown in Europe since around 1730 but is believed be one of the oldest living trees dating back some 200 million years. There is a long list of conditions that Gingko Leaves are said to help reduce symptoms: anxiety, dementia, vascular disease, vision problems, peripheral vascular disease, premenstrual syndrome, dizziness amongst many others. When infused alone, the resultant brew has a slight floral fragrance and a smooth, finish. A great herbal addition to any blend too.
